Beijing and Fuijian Province.
From December 1st to December 22 1999 my girlfriend and I were in China. We stayed for tree weeks in the capital, Beijing.

There is so much to see in Beijing, that we found that it wasn't worth travelling for days to se another part of China.

People in Beijing are very different from the Korean people. Here they are not as well dressed as in Korea. There are beggars and the roads are filthy. The air is filled with smog. During summer the smell must be unbearable.

Public transport is as slow as a tortoise and most of the day has gone before you arrive at a remote sight.

But why did we go then? I think it was to se some of all the beautiful temples, palaces and parks. There are a lot, more than we could see in the tree weeks. I believe and hope that we saw the most important.
