Mary Immaculate Parish Church in Las Piñas.
Situated within a forest of mango trees, this unique chapel is sheltered by an anahaw/cogon combination tent roof. It is basically a suspended roof structure and open at all sides. The anahaw leaves used for the roof were chemically treated to preserve the structure longer. No trees were cut down in the site during the construction. Instead, the church is nestled in nature’s bosom and the surrounding are integrated with the church itself.

The church was made with no walls and the benches were made so they looked like stumps. A big shell made the font. There were no cemetery but a big beautiful garden surrounded the structures. There were 2 different places where the priest could make his speech. There was also a “hut” which usually was used to play bingo in or just as a place for the congregation to gather in before and after church.
