View from Nevis Range.
It’s me at the top of Nevis Range. It’s easily reached, because in Vinter it’s used as a skiing resort. Therefore there are gondolas which bring you all the way to the top. Just relax and enjoy the effortless ride to 2150ft for the stunning views, and the fresh mountain air.

At the top there are two gravelled paths which offer relatively easy walks leading to viewpoints. The first is to Sgurr Finnisg-aig, (approx 40 minute round trip). The path climbs gently to an excellent viewpoint looking across the Great Glen and the hills of knoydart and looking back to Carn Mor Dearg and Ben Nevis.

The slightly longer walk to Meal Beag, takes approx one hour. It leads you in the opposite direction to another viewpoint from where the views across Loch Linnhe, Loch Eil, the hills of Ardgour and Moidart are simply stunning. There are other routes for experienced hill walkers and mountaineers.

From the base station there are several sign-posted walks from the base station. The River Lundy walk takes approx 45 mins and crosses the Allt Daim and the River Lundy, views of Fort William and Ben Nevis can be enjoyed for most of the journey.
