At November 2'nd 2002 I had the opportunity to go to the capital of Estonia, Tallinn.
This is a really nice old city, with a lot of old cultural sights. Especially the old town within the city wall is really worth a visit. At the top picture, you can see that there are lot of booths inside it. Beside there is a lot of old buildings, which are restored. Especially the area around the monastery is beautiful.

If you leave the old part of the town, you’ll also see that lots of factory buildings are abandoned and is waiting for the economics to be better. But now when the country has become a part of the EU, it should be changing for the better, even though it will take some time.

City fortification.
The city wall and Viru Gates.
St. Catherine’s Passage.
The streets around Neitsitorn are very narrow.
Alexander Nevski Cathedral.
Old factory buildings.
