In the summer of 1998 I went to Greenland with my friend Frank.
We were both scouts at the time, and we both like the nature a lot. Greenland is the ultimate place to visit for those who like the unspoiled nature. It's easy to get a good trawling map and you can camp everywhere. If you want to se something different, then consider going to Greenland. There are lots of space and only few tourists.

Lots people think that it is very cold in Greenland, and there is. But the humidity is very low, and therefore it doesn't feel cold. When we arrived in Kangerlussuaq (the city where almost all planes from outside Greenland arrive) the temperature was 15° C, and it felt very warm.

Lots of water is needed when hiking in Greenland.
Top of Sugar Loaf.
"Leftovers" from the ice
Lots of mosquito bites
Melted water from the indland ice
The ice cap.
Sledge dogs in Kangerlussuaq.
A reindeer.
Musk oxen near our camp.
